ABOUT KEVIN & BETH SENIOR PASTORS Kevin Green, a third generation private pilot, sold his dream- a small airplane business and private airstrip and exchanged it for a different dream- to start a church that would make an impact on their city. Beginning with 8 families in the living room of their home, he and his wife, Beth invested their savings and retirement into purchasing a furniture store and renovated it into one of the most modern church facilities in their area. Their creative and innovative approach to “not doing church as usual” is reaching scores of people who once viewed going to church as irrelevant. In 6 years, The Living Room has grown rapidly to 1300 people in their small city of 18,000 in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
With a vision to make God famous in their city, Kevin and Beth are passionate about embracing the next generation –believing in them and empowering them to do greater things. One of Beth's passions is to pastor the Creative Arts Department --recognizing people's gifts and strengths, and watching them flourish in the role that God naturally created them to function in. Beth also pastors the Women at The Living Room regularly and hosts "Adored" , an annual event held at The Living Room designed to totally pamper and spoil women 17 and older. Her heart is for the women of her church to know without a doubt that they are believed in and absolutely loved and Adored. When not at his favorite place, The Living Room, Kevin can be found flying, golfing, racing snowmobiles in northern Maine or burning the tires on his V-Rod. Kevin and Beth have two teenage children. Their son, Ethan, (18) is a student at Hillsong Leadership College in Sydney Australia, and their daughter, Emily, (15) a High School student, is very active in volunteer leadership roles at The Living Room. ABOUT DANNY & ERICA YOUTH PASTORS He’s been called lots of things…sensitive, funny, compassionate, and truly insane, but one thing people can’t deny about Danny Sullivan is that he’s been called to teach and lead young people. Recognizing this call on Danny’s life, Pastor Kevin Green knew Danny was the man to help “Build for Future Generations” at The Living Room. With a contagious smile, drive, and determination to get results in every area of her life, Erica Sullivan is viewed by many of her peers as a leader and “God-friend.” Together, Danny and Erica have served as the student pastors of The Living Room’s 10:20 Student Ministry since 2006, where they are building a culture of young people in Martinsburg and beyond that is thriving and living passionately for God. Danny might be seen at your local high school helping out with lunch duty, hanging out at area coffee shops, leading worship on Sunday morning, playing his guitar in local restaurants, or working at his Dad’s gas station. No matter where he is or what he’s doing, you’ll always experience his passion for life. He is a true leader, mentor, and purposeful teacher. Erica is a 2003 Shepherd University graduate and is in her sixth year of teaching elementary students in Hagerstown, MD. Erica can be also be found shopping, hanging out at local restaurants with good friends and young people, attending classes to learn more about teaching, serving her church each and every Sunday, and having a blast at 10:20 on Wednesday evenings. Both Danny and Erica have a huge heart for seeing the lives of young people transformed for the better, and have dedicated their lives according to this passion. Danny and Erica have one child, Li’l Dan who has a very promising future.
